Delay effects -- for Eurorack DIY

Has anyone amongst the synthesists here built a delay at all? Preferably Eurorack, preferably PT2399. (Or v3205d, but those are noisy.)

Synthrotek sell a PT2399 delay, but they're out of stock. Thonk sell the Synthrotek delay, but they cost heaps. MFOS have a PT2399 synth board, but it's MFOS, meaning LOTS of flying wires and board mounted NOTHING.

Anyone?
