reamp box stuff

hi all, im like wanting to try this for recording, a reamp box i sea areally simple schematic from herehttp://stompville.co.uk/?p=359 but, seach the transofrmer and its a bit expensive about 30USD, and i sea that has 2 windings, so i was like he its using both windings?? or just using one and then leave off the other??

I'd guess from the impedance values given in the transformer's spec sheet and the schematic given on the site, that it uses both sets of windings, series connected, on both the primary and the secondary.

When I was looking for the spec sheet, I saw that Newark has it for about US$20. They are a Farnell company, so perhaps the others will have it at a similar level.

thanks man, i will quote at Newark to see i i can get one to build this box, seems interesting for studio recording but, i have never used one
