Lotta mods for that little Valve Jr. amp. Might be a fun project?
Never played one though.

I grabbed one of these Bugera 22w Combos and am really happy with it. ($320 US Shipped)
Guitar amps and tone is so subjective ya better go play a bunch first.. :)
