Collosalus(MXR117)/ Oscillation Mod

Hey guys, thought i'd share this here.

A while ago i built a collosalus and really liked how it sounded and well... like many stuff that i built it will at one time or another get in the hands of somebody else...

This time it's my buddy Sammy who got is noisy hands on it, he had it for couple weeks and then asked me if it was possible to add a footswitch on it that when pressed it would run away in crazy oscillation mode. So i told him to bring me it back and that i would have a look at it.

The Mod:

Simply used a SPST Normally Open Momentary footswitch tied to lug 3 and 2 of Feedback trimpot.

Press the switch and it's DubStep madness!

I was looking for the same mod for one of my Moosapotamus's A/DA clones, like the "take of" switch in Paul Gilbert"s signature flanger...

Hmmmm, there's something that is not behaving like it should, well not like when i did it externaly... will update this. Sorry.

Sorry for the long delay, but it just skipped my mind to update this.

Finally, my first idea was'nt working in practice, i was getting huge POP when actuating the momentary switch even after trying different large values resistors to keep the the throw somehow linked (sorry i don't know the technical term for that app.)

To get some crazy oscillation going or feedback, i simply used Beavis feedback looper schem and stuck it in there with an added pot on top. Works flawlessly and it gets crazy like wanted.
