Road Rage (Stand Alone)

So I want to build a Road Rage in an enclosure.  I just want 9V in and 18V out.  I have two questions.  Does this mean I don't need a regulator at all?  Is there a certain jack/cable that I need to use on the 18V side that will attach to the pedal?

you do not need a regulator for 18v oeration. and you can use any 2 contact jack you like. but the standard power jack will correspond with most available power cables. you could also use 1/8 phono jacks like the old dod pedals. IIRC the furman powered pedalboard cables use those.
