Uproar vs. Dirty Bomb & other high gainers

I'm getting ready to place an order and had questions about the Uproar.  This effect comes with quite a bit of hype but, I can't comprehend what sets it apart from other high gainers like my favorite, the Barber Dirty Bomb.  Aside from liking Alter Bridge and a few other heavy contemporary groups, I strictly want high gain for 80's metal.  What sets this pedal apart from the others?

I have a Dirty Bomb and have played a Suhr Riot. I prefer the Dirty Bomb. I think it is pretty hard to beat for the tone you are looking for.
