Hey,

Looking to build a Delay in the next round of projects, just curious what the differences are between the Zero Point family one's and say the Dirtbag?

thanks

The ZP series are Pt2399 based.  Advantages - inexpensive parts, easy to build and fire up, sound good, variety of options, very noob friendly.  Disadvantages - noisier than analog, PT2399 chips can vary in performance.

Dirtbag is analog, MN3005.  Advantages - sounds "better" than 2399 circuits, less noise, vintage feel.  Disadvantages - hard to find, expensive parts, requires a fair degree of ability to dial them in properly, not noob friendly.

To sum it up in short, you could buy all the parts for a zero point pcb for the same price as one good MN3005 chip.
The only known cure in the world for GAS is death.  That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
