Harbinger Chorus

I've built a Neovibe from GGG. It's a great vibe pedal... no its awesome. However, the chorus flat out sucks. I don't know if I messed something up or what not. The chorus just sounds really seasick and has little room for adjustment. Does the harbinger have a decent tweakable chorus, or should I just build a separate chorus pedal? I was hoping to get some decent "cold shot" like tones. Enlighten me, please.
