Quick LED Question

Is it possible to connect the CLR to the ground leg of the LED? I seem to recall seeing it on a few build reports, but wanted to make sure so as not to get a snoot full of burnt LED :o

Sure. You can either go (9v - led+ - led- - clr - gnd) or (9v - clr - led+ - led- - gnd). Same thing.
