The wah shells from Pedal Parts Plus are actually designed so the 3pdt can sit in there at a right angle. Unfortunately the screw holes are poorly tapped and a PITA to deal with...

Usually tight. But on awkward or high gain stuff I'll usually keep things apart or use shielded. Which has turned up in a few of my recent builds (doppelganger, last two Klones have it on the output because of where it ended up with the board being sideways, etc).
