Hey...

Want to share my phase45. Circuit from Tonepad (i think hehe)
It uses a matched pair of 2n5952 and a external bias pot that makes the pedal mutch more versatile... you can get a bunch of different sounds with this pot.

I had to add two resistors to the bias pot in order to have a bigger range of bias

Looks AWESOME, I really like the phase over 45 look. Great work dude.

thx

its a very nice sounding pedal... i´m building a phase 90, the script logo, but i tested yesterday and its more subtle

Diamond

Are you saying that your script Phase 90 is more subtle than the Phase 45? Because I believe it should be the other way around, as the 90 has more phase stages.

As I said I finished yesterday and I still haven't got the time to test it properly... Tonight I'm going to install a omitted resistor and mess with the bias... But that was my first impression

billstein

I've built both, definitely the 45 is more subtle.

That's a really cool looking pedal. Is there any info out there on the bias mod? I may want to try that with mine.

gtangas

Without the resistor on pins 1 and 3 on the bias pot you will get a big void on the range of the pot

The ideia is to measure the resistance at the point you start to ear the effect and when is stops. That way you determine the range of the effect.

So if you start to have effect at 50k and it stops at 150k you solder a 47k on pins 1 and 3

Sorry by the ruff explanation but the pic I show what I have done

Cool, thanks for the info. I'll give this a shot when I get to mine.
