This might be old news, but I've only recently discovered this.
I have all my capacitors and transistors soaking right now.

I've even made a test bowl I put an MN3008 in to see if I could stretch its delay out some.

I put a 2N3904 in a bowl of it overnight.

Came back and it had turned into an OC140!

Last quart i got from Tayda was definitely fake. They made it good though, got store credit.
