Hi guys !

I hesitate ordering some 2N2222A TO-18 or TO-92......??

Until now, I've use only TO-18.....but the TO-92 are way much cheaper.....

Anyone can tell if there's an audible difference with those two Q's ???

If there's a difference I'll stick with the TO-18 'cause I really like how it sounds.....but if there's no difference at all.....then why bother pay more ??

Any idea ???

One caution is that for all of them I've seen, the 2N2222 (TO-18) have higher current ratings than the P2N2222 (TO-92). For most uses in effects, I doubt it would be an issue. But, I was looking at them as buffers for a virtual ground thing I was working on and the T0-18's would work where the TO-92's wouldn't.
