I love this original project! Very cool sound 
Lot of electrycal tape in there.
Like the firebomb I built I completely f..cked up the enclosure so I tried something on it.
I've cut a piece of plexiglas and engraved "Dr Z" in it with a dremel. I'v drilled it for the led and footswitch.
I used a ultrabright led. The result is very cool in the dark. I've taken at least 20 photos of it but none render it properly. I think I'll do it again on a beautiful enclosure from PPP (I won't paint them myself in the future as they are alway awful).

Nice! I'd like to see a couple more angles on your plexiglass top. That is very neat!!

Sure! Here are some close pics!
I had hard times cutting it to the desired shape, but engraving it with the dremel is easy.
This is my first try
I'll make a better piece next time
