I know this one was put to bed long ago, but if I wanted to slip a brightness switch into this, where would be a good place to put it? (I'll muck around with values)

Is it possible to remove the fuzz section from an Octavia pedal? I have a 3 knob tycobrahe (however it is spelt) clone and want to remove the fuzz part.

Is it do-able?

I'd guess that deleting C3 and the Fuzz pot first, and then playing around with R7 and R8 (maybe replacing them with a 100k pot until you get the sound you want, measuring that, putting a similar resistor across R7 or R8 and jumpering the other.) Or if you get the sound you want with the fuzz knob turned down, replace it with a 1K to ground.

Just a suggestion. Tthers Who Know These Things may start shooting me down now.
