Finally got back to working in this after a much needed holiday:
Harbinger is now working perfectly, as it turns out R45 which I believe connects to the rate LED wasn't getting to ground so the LFO wasn't able to start without it, for some reason jumpering the rate LED pads or having an LED installed didn't make the required connection (i may have broken a trace somehow...) so I ran a wire from the pads direct to ground and presto, swirly goodness for some reason

Changed all the 5088's, double checked the trim pot and its a 500r, replaced the diodes with new ones and still getting the same issues.
I don't know what else to do man. I might reflow all the solder joints and see if that helps, if not im outta ideas 

Ok finally got around to finishing the Rams head build, im still mastering clean wiring and waterslides so the guts are pretty meh and there was a screwup with the decal but overall im happy enough.
Used 1776 effects 3PDT board (Awesome boards!) and mounted the LED internally just for testing purposes.

Did a joke Rams head clone decal and called it Muffram with the same bocklin font used on the originals, changed the electro harmonix label to false harmonix and changed the rams head picture to Nicholas Cage's 'you don't say' meme picture, so if someone comes up to me and goes "That looks like a Rams Head clone" I can laugh at my own personal joke Still working on the paint and decal for the Civil War, hopefully it turns out god and special!

Still trying to wrestle my rig into recording properly so hopefully I can get clips up soon.

who did you get the 5133s from?  Are they legit?

Sorry for the late reply! got them from eBay and as far as I know they are legit, they sound awesome either way eBay username siliconsound, the same people I got the 2N5828's from.

I'm back on shift again so I will replace all the 2n5088's when I get time tomorrow hopefully.

Speed pot should be fine but I'll recheck just in case, I have 1n914's for the diodes as per the instructions but I'll replace those too just in case.

Ok. D4,D5, Q11, Q12 and Q13 are all orientated correctly, voltages are:

D4 - 13.53v both sides
D5 - 13.56v both sides
Q11 - E 13.89v, B 10.38v, C 14.84v
Q12 - E 13.92v, B 13.94v, C 14.84v
Q13 - E 7.48v, B 8.06v, C 8.16v

Will get some pics up soon as I can.

The lamp intensity adjusts from dark to bright just fine but the lamp does not pulse, it stays on permanently, the led does not light at all, checked the polarity of the led and that was fine.

If someone says "F*** off mate" to you most of the time they just don't believe what your saying or don't know about the subject you're talking about, other times your too close to his girlfriend. It's the only place I know where you can insult someone and call them friend out in the open without offence. All in all a pretty tops place to live.

Ah you need to go into the swearing sorry, Klon thread. It's one of the things we in the UK share with the Aussies and Kiwis I reckon. The ability to swear, sometimes quite harshly, in a natural, jovial friendly manner. Something many other places just don't get.
