The 4k7 is correct. I get audio but no trem. The speed knob works; can't really tell about any other control. Does the depth knob change the intensity of the 5mm LED? If so, it's not working.

I re-checked all components since many will not be visible in photos, and all good. But nobody is perfect:

Test fired the Old School and LFO is happening, LED varies with speed Knob, but no volume change. All my voltages are good EXCEPT collector of T1 which reads 9.8 instead of 17.xx. The voltage going into R7 (4K7) is @22, coming out is 9.8. Is that correct or should I try a different value for R7?

Can't narrow it down to one fave, but Aion's L-5, Jason's Cascadia and Bean's 2014 Kingslayer are never left at home.

I built on veroboard the GGG's eq, layout by Sabrotone, the 5 pot version. But It was not so quite. The eq was good and versatile, but it add a bit of noisy, a bit annoying in the clean channel, much annoying in the distortion channel, so I quitted.

I was looking the TH Custom board. Is it that quite? I don't want to add noise to the sound clean or dirty, else I prefer not using an eq.

I just built a vero Iketera dual eq created by Drolo, very quiet, Fender tone stack based with two eqs in one 125B-sized box (if you rotate the layout and like 8 pots in that space.). It's on the forum at tagboard fx in the verified section under EQ.

It has two identical channels of T M B tone stack and a master volume for each channel.

How did you frequency bias the trimpots?

I set everything in the middle just to fire it up to use on a gig. The great thing about adjusting the gain and volume individually for each band is that you can dial out anything that doesn't work for you. I'm pretty much Captain Midrange when it comes to overdrive and distortion, so it didn't matter where the treble was set, and I still got a sound I was happy with. I plan on doing some trimmer tweaking this weekend to see what happens.

Built up the Triumvirate distortion over the weekend, and fired right up. This thing is loud. I like the idea of being able to emphasize both volume and gain of each band, and I got a good sound with all 57    internal trims in the middle. It went straight on my board for a gig tomorrow night, but I'm curious to tweak and see what else is revealed.  Built in a 1590BS with bottom mounted jacks (to sit on the top row of my board).

Do the treble mod as indicated in the build doc—it has way too much as is, and was squealing a bit while testing—cleared up once I boxed it up. Well worth building if you own stock in Bournes!

So I finally had the bright idea to open up my zirc "sr" build to see what ICs I used. 5532 in place of OP275—sounds great!

Anyone know what's a common sub that would be good for this circuit? I have everything but that one IC to do the build.

I whent and watch some video for soldering smd part for when my organ donor comes in .... this video makes it looks so easy T_T i am kind of stressed thinking of soldering non leaded components :p

Might be useful to practice on something else first? Like most things, it gets better with repetition!
