I'm waiting to place a pretty sizable PCB order until everything I want is available at the same time.
I would also like to voice my support for a preorder.
Rust Bucket, Dirtbag, Lowrider, Moodring, and a few others that are already available.

Sweet builds, and cool knobs! Where from they come? 

Heyyyy now that I think about it, the outsides of these knobs are actually knurled. Gosh darnit, maybe that's what they meant!

I realize I can still put them on, but I was endeavouring to rid myself of set screw knobs and go with entirely knurled stuff, since I find myself with loose knobs on the inside of my pedalboard case fairly often. I realize I can just ream the screw on there, but for some reason I feel I've had better success with commercially made pedals that have knurled shafts..

Also, I find that when I turn a set-screwed knob, it's not properly centred and it looks all wonky.
This is all nitpicking, I know, but I'm a finicky dude sometimes.

Does "knurled" mean a pot shaft that, instead of being smooth, has a bunch of ridges going around?

Therefore, would it follow that a knob that is labelled as being "knurled" would have the corresponding grooves within the knob, as opposed to a set screw?

...and in both cases I find myself having been shipped knobs with set screws, to accompany a build of mine with knurled pots.
Now I have 6 set screw knobs, and a Big Muff with no knobs!

What gives?

+1 on the soda meiser PCB. My bass player loves the one I etched for him, is love to make a tabbed version

+1 on the theremin. That'd be wild.

How about some compact 3PDT bypass boards? On board CLR, pads for LED, a couple extra pads for ground and +9V to make wiring easier..
Perhaps multi-packs with appropriate stomp switches.

I've tried a couple different boards for this. I'm not too keen on the ones from Mammoth. The ones from Guitar PCB are pretty rad.

I've heard of people using heat shrink tubing. Might be worth a try.

I thought about that, but I'm not particularly stoked on my etch job for this box, so I figured some cute knobs would counteract my aesthetic dissatisfaction. Still, it may come to it..

I have this Egghead build that turned pretty sweet (except for my sub-par etch job). I fit the thing into a 1590A using 9mm pots that I managed to fit beside eachother mounted on the PCB. The question is, are there knobs small enough to fit gracefully on this little dude?

I can't wait to give birth to a dirtbaby.

I used drawer pulls for handles on my most recent DIY pedalboard, and little rubber feet that screw onto the underside. I've found these things to greatly improve the experience of lifting and setting down the pedalboard. I like the raised back layer as well. There's space underneath to hide a powerbar/power supply etc. Also, if you're going to go the velcro route, I got a spool of it on eBay and reinforced the stickiness by using a crapload of staples and a staple gun. Solid as a rock. So far this incarnation of my board has been pretty good, but I built one or two crappy ones before finally settling on this design.

So 4x3005 gets 1100ms.... Just need tap tempo now

There's no reason 4 x MN3008 should give a shorter delay than 2 x 3005 as long as the clock cap value is correct.

That sounds like good news! I certainly don't mind paying the extra for another 2 x MN3005 if it means my delay will be that much more kickass; but I gotta know that it's going to work, first! Maybe some kind of confirmation from .. er.. the build docs or something.. ? 

I think I have a reliable source for them, but I'd like to be able to pull the trigger on it before said source dries up entirely.

I ask because I bought 2 x MN3005 last year with the intent on building a dirtbag. I'm not sure what approach to take with regards mixing and matching, possibly leaving BBDs empty, or just coughing up another 100 for 2 addtional 3005s. Last year's investment has already been absorbed anyhow.
