Do the Version 4 build documents line up with the version 5 documents?

Thanks

I have found that their 3PDT switches are not worth the hassle. Lugs tend to fold over once heat is applied. I only buy outty DC jacks, 1/4" jacks, diodes, resistors, box caps, & electros. Never had any problems with the exception of diodes glass cracking and the switches. I tend to buy my switches from bitches love MY switches.

Dremel. Dremel fixes everything!

Here is something I found this weekend at a yardsale for $10

Also got a mortising kit by craftsman and a set of bits with the Drill press!

I have been using Muriatic Acid and peroxide in a small bowl only applying acid to the areas favored to be etched to reduce over etching small text. This, to me, adds a bit of control to the etch process. See my R2G2 build for an example of detail.

General Questions / Re: diy dc power brick
August 03, 2013, 01:34:56 PM
I have a few 120vAC to 12vDC wall warts, was thinking of using instead of buying transformers and hoping I get the primary and secondary's wired correctly. This way the pcb will only have to step down from 12 to 9vDC. I was thinking a common ground wired to the tip at each output and for the positive side would be the capacitors & regulator, of coarse going to the shield. (LOL, this is funny to me because I design substations that are energized from 12.5kV to 500kV AC, and am having trouble with a 9v distribution brick.)

General Questions / diy dc power brick
August 03, 2013, 03:07:50 AM
Anyone know of a good schematic for a power brick. I am thinking of at least six to eight output. My input voltage would be 12vDC at 1 amp and my output would be a single 12vdc and the rest regulated 9vdc.

Used some acrylic paint and horse hair brushes. Not to bad to do. maybe on my next etch and paint I will document the process.

is there a schematic floating around for those of us whom are adventurous enough to etch a board?
Looks to be a cool pedal, and I love me some high gain circuits.

Would it shock you that the majority of my time spent on the etch was all prep work and maybe an hour of actual etching. Thank you everyone for the comments.
