Mods / Re: Low Rider OC-2 Mods

Reducing R34 to 4.7 as in Boss OC-2 we could increase voltage headroom.
Another changes are subtle. I just wanted to get closer to OC-2 which I like...

Omit C1
Change R34 to 4.7K

Really nice build! Thank you for sharing!

My 2 cents: when I was making a TB for boss pedal I just replaced the original switch with a blue 3pdt. You only need to snap off the top of the 3pdt to make it shorter and that's it! So, this way you still have a batery compartment just in case.

Cheers, folks!

Probably there is a wrong caracitor value or something in your build. I found my dirtbag and memory man to be brighter than AD-202 which I had in a past. As for the reference please check out these dirtbags:

Hey!! Really nice build and nice to see another fan of Police!
Could you guys help me to fing SCPA charge pump please.
I did several flangers on MN3007 and recently I've made a V6 Electric Mistress using original chip.
I've recorded a demo, sorry for the quality, my need to replace my cheapo camera.

I've built the same circuit and for me it sounds too subtle...

Really nice build! Great job! Can't wait to hear it!
Is it 1590BB enclosure or smaller one?

midwayfair, and I really like your mutron! great job!
hey, I just got a Mutron PCB from Brian and I was looking for a smaller inclosure for it.
I think hammond 1550C will do that pretty well.

thank you guys! I'm using acrylic colors in my pedals. But you need to use a primer first. I usually do couple thin coats of it and after that enclosure feels like a sandpaper. it's good for acrylic colours! when the paint job is done I let it dry and apply several thin coats of acrylic varnish. usually 4-5 layers. yeah, it takes couple days usually. that's it!

Hi there solder soldiers,

I would like to show you couple of my new builds... actually building a pedal is only 50% of the whole job. for example, M-117 flanger with "autumn" theme took me whole night to draw. Please check 'em out.

Enjoy!
Alexander

P.S. a third dirtbag is coming!

Mods / Re: Current Lover Bass Mod

thank you! I decided to leave it almost stock except for the input cap and coupling caps (described in my 1st message) because I remember that original 9V green electric mistress sounded very good with bass...

I also have build Collosalus and compared it with my current lover and found out that mistress sounds better with bass.

Hi there,

My friend asked me to build a flanger for bass. Please advise me in which part of the circuit I need to make changes... I've changed C1 (100n), C8 (100n). But I don't think it made significant difference...

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks, guys! I have question to those members who built dirtbag. I can't find 2,7nF caps, I only have 2,2nF. Is it critical part? I'm building third dirtbag for myself (one MN3005 DMM was a gift for my friend, another V3205 I sold). I have two real MN3005 for this build.

Hello, brothers! I'd like to show you my builds. Actually I made them quite a long time ago but i was travelling in India several months and I just came home. One DMM was made using MN3005 chips, another was made using V3205. Electric mistress built using MN3007 chips. I used acrilyc colors for all my builds. In my pedalmaking phylosophy it's not really a guitar pedal, it's more a small piece of art, just like a pattern. That;s why I don't write anything near controls. thanks!
