Finally* boxed up a rullywow Jordan Bosstone, populated and tested one of Ben's Voodoo Fuzzes and built a Mascis Muff. The Mascis is purple...it's just hard to photograph.

I'm with you on the ruetz mod. Never understood it.

I use Redrum on Reason. Got the Reason 8 Essentials for $60 at Sweetwater. Lots of drum options and very easy to record with. Used it on all my recent recordings:

I haven't built a 3 knob 1590A yet. I have a runt board, too...I should get moving on that.

Exactly how they SHOULD look! I really have to order from Fuzz Dog and build one of these. Great job!

The Dist + and fuzz face is a good early punk combo. Definitely a RAT and maybe a DS-1 as well. The MI Audio Crunch Box is good for chuggy punk chords.

I like the "weird" names. It's creative and usually funny. Keep it weird, Bean!

Tremolo and vibrato are fun!

New Orleans to Chicago sounds like a great road trip with Memphis and St. Louis in the middle. Also, Austin, Texas is less than 8 hours from New Orleans. A little bit of planning and I'm sure you could fit it all.

NYC is great, but Northeast/New England is a trip of its own. And nowhere near Missouri. I'm from NJ and definitely agree that Hoboken and Jersey City are excellent choices for a NYC trip. I also work for PATH, so thanks for the plug, don't-tase-me-bro!

Started with a DOD Classic fuzz and a TS9 in my high school band. The fuzz didn't work out, so I bought a Sovtek Big Muff (Tall Font). That lead to a Sovtek Small Stone and then some Ebay purchases: early 70s MXR Dist +, 70s ADA Flanger and an old Stereo Memory Man. Some bands later, our stupid drummer got drunk one night, took a bat to my Big Muff and the footswitch never worked well after that. Between wanting to learn how to fix the pedal and then finding out I could make my own Fender Blender, I found BYOC and a few YouTube videos to learn how to solder. Now I'm up to 20+ mostly successful builds and I still haven't rehoused that Big Muff OR built a Fender Blender! Haha

I still get excited every time I finish a new build. I just wish I was still playing with a band.

Ugh. The box of fail!

Echo Base - Very ambitious project when I built it. I have no idea if I can work it out.
TriVibe - Etched board fail. Very frustrating. Can't seem to succeed with etched boards.
2 Red Llamas - Built 3. Can't get either of the other 2 to work.
2 Octavias - Another build for someone else. I think it's cursed.
Shoegazer - Rocked it before I boxed it. Won't work in the box. Pretty sure this one is the footswitches/3pdt boards. Just need to sit down with it again.

Love it! That's a great looking build inside and out!

Never got an etched board to work after populating it.
Never learned how to use my audio probe I built.
Also never built a fuzz face.
