Im just wondering what do they actually use the MAX1044 or any Compatible charge pump chip in? as in what junk can i salvage these from or  or items i should look for that have Cp's.Are there other charge pump models we can yank from say a Power supply to a printer or anything ...i aint rich but buying these ontop of other shit would get expencive...just curious if these charge pumps are in crap we can dissasemble and reuse....tryin to think Cheaper

Name is Carl....and Im addicted to making pcbs lol just got into making pcb's the last few months and just love making them i go ghetto style tho from my mike stand drill press tutorial soon... to my 10 buck acid bubbler,ive been playing guitar some 20+ years and ya lose count after 20 also in a few Bands atm and New to Madbeans site and dig it ...just thought id pop in say hi since i been lurking reading alot and love all the info thats available here

Just had a noob question or thought about wire...Is it possible to use the 24 guage intercom wire to wire up pedals they sell at radio shack? since it comes with 4 colors. Prob is its not stranded since they say stranded is stronger its just 1 wire and its damn easy to use on pcbs,compaired to their 22 g stranded thats a pain in the rear to use.....just was curios does anyone use it to build pedals...
