Tech Help - Projects Page / Is it normal...
March 06, 2012, 05:52:40 PM
Hi, well i have some questions, maybe i am doing something wrong, but is it normal to..

a) Alpha pot to come with 1 nut and 1 washer?, because i cant install them that way i think i need 2 nuts, ( or something to level the offset).

b) DC jacks, I got (Round External Nut DC Power Jack), but the nut is too tight, I can't make it go all the way down.

c) Compressor to turn into a radio when i use DC (this is weird but with batteries it works perfect, but when i use DC I get noise and I can listen to radio  ???...

I triple chack all the conections and values, and they look fine.

Well, finally I got it, is a cupcake, just baked.

I got all the pieces, (well i got some wrong caps, but this weekend i went to the city so i could find some at radioshack), and after an afternoon of chaos and pain (wiring, and broking my ipod touch, but thats a different story) i got it to work (some how the led polarity is inverted).

Well is not actually done, i have no led bezels (still waiting for them), and the i cant get tight the dc jack, but well, i need a little break, monday i will finish the mudbunny, and the pork barrel.

I also won a free rgue analog chorus in a guitar forum, so this was a good week after all.
