I have that exact one and I really like it.

I found out through asking around that with the v2 El Caps, you can add a jack in parallel with the tap switch, or as one of my friends has done with his EL Cap, he hardwired a George L to the tap switch and then fed that through one of the gaps in the corner right into his tap tempo. He can do an external tap, still can access the secondary functions, and didn't have to drill a hole in his pedal in case he ever wants to resell it.

Bought an El Cap thinking that the EXP jack would accept tap just like my Flint's EXP jack does. WRONG! Just favorite or an expression pedal. My whole board runs off of a Disaster Area SMARTclock, and I'd like to keep it that way, haha.

There are a few companies doing this, but wanted to see if anyone here has done so. Am I wrong to think I'll need some kind of switching jack to shunt the TAP footswitch and something gets plugged in?

I've always had an interest in graphic design, so recently "upgraded" from Inkscape (free) to iDraw ($25).... night and day to me. So I thought I'd read tutorials, and some of this I just figured out by trial and error because I didn't know the "lingo"... any who, i know this is totally random, but I decided to make my own little vector of a Strymon BigSky and was super proud of it, so thought I'd share, haha.

This thing is incredible. I just yanked 3 drives/distortions off of my board because I can get equal, if not better, sounds with this guy. I've been playing with this thing for 2 hours now and I have yet to get a sound that I didn't love, and couldn't dial in super fast.

Thanks for a super versatile pedal, and for making more room on my already crammed pedalboard. Can't wait to see more out of function f(x)

Grew up in NJ a Devils fan... but being Nashville the last 8 years, I've caught the Predators bug. I know it's extremely unlikely with us heading to Chicago... but I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that we can somehow squeak by the Blackhawks.

Fixed the quacker

I use these straps on all of my solid bodies. Love them. They don't go super low, so if you where your guitar at your knees, then it's not the right strap for you.

Anyone else use photo paper? I've never had any luck with photo paper. For those of you successful with it, what are you using?

They are DSP.... from their site...

And then this is in their FAQ as well:

And I believe he's not just blowing smoke there. The guy knows what he's doing.

So... say what you want about it, but I'll stick up for them.

Alexander is run by Matthew Farrow and the guys at Disaster Area Designs (whose midi controllers and programmable bypass loopers are awesome, I own a DMC-6D, a DPC-8EZ, and their SmartClock). Stand up, good people. I have no doubt that their pedals are original designs, as Matthew knows what he's doing under the hood of things.

Plus, they do good. Alexander is named after Matthew's brother, who died of cancer when he was a child. They give back on everything they sell. From their site:

Also.... what do you recommend for the cleanest fuzz out there? Only real musician's reply please.
