i bought a non-working egodriver, and it seems to be older then anything in there.  i have pics of the pcb if that helps.  i just wanna find the project file for this version, as it would help speed up the process of getting this thing repaired.

I just picked up a fromel "lush" prototype in a gearpage trade. it is a dimension clone with some mods. there's a lot goin' on inside that box. it has a ton of mn3007s. would be a fun challenging project. the thing sounds amazing. I'll post some gut shots when I get a chance. really nice pedal.

i would love you to get it over to fsb for a possible trace :D

Requests / Boss DC-2 Dimension C Clones!!!

There is only 1 version of this pedal available for DIY online that I can find, and frankly it isn't that great.  I haven't got it completed yet, but am getting very close.  I just hate the size and the layout available.  There are way too many jumpers and it makes it look super sloppy.

Here is the project page:

I hope this sounds as good as the original.  I have the original on my pedalboard now, but with the going rate of these ($300-$500) I can't help but want to either clone it and sell the original or the clone if it sounds good.

I vote if Brian clones this he should go all vertical resistors!  That would be SICKKKK!

Here is a youtube demo of quite possibly the greatest chorus pedal ever built.

changed the sus and volume knobs out and got it up and running.  it seems like this pedal only likes to be played very loud.  may need to mod it to get rid of the bassy-ness next, but its pretty cool sounding.  just doesnt seem like it has the range of distortion i was expecting.  it goes from non to alot really quickly!

i used a 20k instead of a 25k pot for the tone knob.... didnt think it would make that much of a difference tho.  should i try his suggested mod for a diff volume knob for a hotter output?

well, i started checking voltages with the multimeter, and couldnt get past my 9v plug.  switched the positive connections on the battery and the pcb/switch and viola!  it works.  but now unless all 3 knobs are all the way up there really isnt much if any distortion.....  i get more if i turn the pot up on my cupcake.....

ok, got my alligator clip, hooked up my signal generator to the input of my pedal, and started probing the circuit.  i am getting a signal at every point in the circuit all the way to the tip of the output jack.

i am not sure if i am using the audio probe correctly tho.... should i be grounding it to the pedal or to the signal generator?

i have actually tried it both ways before i made the thread lol.  right now it is wired as the square as positive.

is the LED required to complete the circuit?  also, i just built an audio probe, but prolly need to go to the hardware store to pick up some alligator clips as i dont have any.

i do not have continuity from tip to tip.  i have no clue where they go tho because they are wired to the PCB
