Oops, it's actually the Skoolie as you can see. Having trouble editing within Tapatalk.

Build Reports / Dual Phaser/Delay with the Anamorph
August 18, 2024, 04:06:09 PM
Totally forgot to share this here. Made a phaser/delay dual pedal for a friend and it sounds pretty rad. I wanted to use the new delay board, but it's just a tad too wide to fit alongside the other board.

Thanks all- it's a great pedal and I look forward to building the Anamorph next!

Build Reports / Skoolie

This was one of my first MB purchases- it was just after I started and had no idea what it took. After seeing it in my box for a year, I finally decided I needed to build it!

It went together nice and straightforward and the build docs were a fantastic help in setting it up and verifying voltages between components. Kudos!

After my friend saw it, he asked if it could be a part of his next dual pedal alongside a phaser. I'm going to see if he want to try the Anamorph instead as I look forward to building a couple of them first of the year.

Oh- and I had to use some OG EHX knobs for it just because! If my friend doesn't use this, then I'll plan on getting some graphics printed on the box.

Congrats!  I went to Purdue and live in Lafayette currently. How was the program- was it all online?

How about a video demo, I'm interested in hearing this one.

Definitely! I'll make one later today.

Just wrapped it up and it's really fun to play with. The 1/2 step down with the bloom is cool. I have Repeat set to start self-oscillating just past 3:00.

This one dropped off my radar. I'm curious about the envelope modulation.

It is definitely a cool one. I just spent the last hour messing around with it and I got it figured out. I was just playing clean into my Twin, and tomorrow I'm going to pair it up with some other effects. This is one to check out.

Just put this together and it's pretty cool. I haven't seen anything written about it anywhere and am wondering the best way to use it.

I have the max repeat set at about 3:00 via the trim pot. Thanks.

This is what you need:

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ScarSG3--focusrite-scarlett-solo-3rd-gen-usb-audio-interface

https://www.reaper.fm/

And then find any multitude of paid or open source guitar and amp sims or mic your amp and you're golden!

Good info, thanks

I am thinking to go for this one, the slight step up
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Focusrite-Scarlett-2i2-Audio-Interface/dp/B07QR73T66/ref=sr_1_3?crid=XHQR38JEOB2C&keywords=Scarlett+2i2&qid=1666728186&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIyLjAxIiwicXNhIjoiMS41MCIsInFzcCI6IjEuMzQifQ%3D%3D&s=musical-instruments&sprefix=scarlett+2i2+%2Cmi%2C100&sr=1-3
Right on- that's the one I have and it's perfect for getting started.

Get yourself a decent set of studio monitors also or some good headphones. Both will sound different, but not that big of a deal for just getting started and getting some tracks laid down. Good luck!
