Also you might be spending so much time building she feels neglected. Maybe you build so much because you're  avoiding something? If you love her you'll figure something out to get more balance.

This.

When a hobby becomes and obsession (a.k.a. compulsion), then maybe you pump the brakes a little and look around.

There goes the neighborhood lol welcome Derek, this the place where the OG builders cut their teeth. Hand around, you'll learn some stuff and see some legit builds.

Glad to be here Chris!

Is that one of the newer '61s? Missed a couple opportunities in the last few months to get one at a really good price but I've committed to selling a couple guitars before buying a third SG. I'm trying to keep my total guitar count to 5 but I'm already +1, haha.
It is Brian, the new standard 61. Sounds and plays excellent. I sold a Les Paul tribute to get it and so glad I did. I'm set now on guitars, all bases covered including bass, my p-bass. Not pictured is my martin acoustic, that stays in the case.

That a real nice looking SG Chris.

My local shop just got one of the Worn Cherry Red Epiphone SG Specials with P90s in. Played it when my son was at drums on Saturday.

Here is a great project from effectslayouts that was recently released. Based on the old freedom amplifier's preamp section. Could use it to go direct to a daw or as a different flavor of overdrive. Josh Scott did a video on the amp and gives a great idea of the tone. Straight forward build with no issues. Artwork inspired by @jjjimi84.

Got my first chance to try out the prototyping rig to test a build and it was great. My mini grabber to jumper pin leads worked exactly how I had hoped.

I've done this a few times with my Protoboard. Good way to "Rock before Box".
