General Questions / PING reverb schematic question - VB, VC

Hello, new user here and a very much beginner in building pedals but i have some experience in making PCBs.
I want to make my own PCB from the official ping schematic. Very nice schematic but i am unsure what the meaning of the two labels VB and VC are. Is it just there for common connection of the nets or is there also a connection with any offboard wiring like the labels L, IN and OUT? (see the attachment)
