So, I was thinking, maybe I should replace the d1 for giggles. Also perhaps do a continuity test ...maybe there's a bad trace ?

#1 bought some j201 on ebay, transistor tester shows "gds" pinout, is this an issue on fatpants build?
#2 bought j201 smd & convertor boards from tayda, transistor tester shows "bjt" is this an issue on fatpants build?

I've only had trouble with the HEADTRIP, and I'm sure it's either builder oriented or possibly a bad fv-1, Bean's stuff is the best.

i get continuity, yes I put a ton of flux on there to make sure it was making good contact, I'm going to clean it and use a little solder paste & hot air just to be sure. how would you socket an smd?

ok, board pics! All other voltages are correct, knobs & switches set as per build document. Pin 10 is consistant at .30 instead of 1.16, continuity tests ok.

C9 is 1.31, no sound out at all, powers up, led works, no bypass or effect signal. Audio probe gives me signal up to jacks idk
