Very cool! I have plans to get one of these built up this summer. Out of curiosity did you use the Dyna or Ross cap values? What are your thoughts on the tantalum caps in this build?

I used the Ross values but changed C1 to 150pf instead of the stock value.
I like the tantalum caps, they are quite compact for their capacity and I feel they work well.

Beautiful!

I've wanted to build one like that for a while now. How do you like it?
I like it a lot, it has a really great sound, I went with a modified tone stack and a couple of different opamps.
I also like driving it with my tube screamer the two work so,well together

Nice !
What values did you change for the tonestack?

Nothing special just used the option in the project and jumpered the modified setting after testing, you can see the sockets in the lower right corner of the PCB  :)

Nice build, did you get the old one working too?

Yes the new IC from small bear fixed the original build, it was quite ugly getting the old IC out lol ;)

On the socketed build I tested all the CA3080's I purchased and all were bad :(
Lesson learnt on cheap source of IC's lol

AION Aurora - Ross Style Compressor
This was a challenging buid and I ended up building two of these.
The first build I could not get to work and after many hours trying to debug it, left me thinking I had a bad IC.

To prove it was the IC, I build another one (it was easier then desoldering the IC) but got the CA3080 IC from Small bear.
I used the treble MOD and changed the C1 capacitor to 150pf over the standard.
The new build worked great and I am super happy with it, it does get a bit noisy when the sustain is past halfway but not too much
This build taught me the value of using sockets for my builds and that there are many counterfeit CA3080's on the market.

AION Stratus - TS-9 Tube Screamer

This has been my favorite build to date, it was my second pedal ive put together and was super impressed how it  sounds through my Fender Hotrod Deluxe, I socketed it and ended up settling on the Brightness and Clipping mods
Used a waterslide decal and was happy with the results.

I ended up loaning this one to someone who wanted to try an Tubescreamer, they liked it so much I had to build me another :)
The second build I used a BB OPA2134A OpAmp

AION Corvus - Op Amp Big Muff Pi
had a lot of fun building this one and and experimenting with different OpAmps.
Really love the sound of this pedal, especially with Tube Screamer feeding into it

I saw the Pumpkin Pi name in a youtube clip, thought it very fitting and borrowed it
I struggled with the water slide decals and this was my 3rd attempt
