Hi guyw and have a happy new year , i built one of this pedal for a friend  and i have a very unusual problem , the pedal woks great on my hiwatt ( i used TL072CN ) but when my friend try to play it on his amps ( a marshall and a mesaboogie) the pedal works great when in buffer mode but when engaged it has a very big hum and noise when he just open a bit of the volume .

have any of you experianced any similar prolem ?

thank you very much

if you make this efford ...i mean it is a bit hot cost maybe a year before but last months on EBAY you could find good prices on NOS Tubes ,so you would never again use new tubes , there is a comparison between the day ans night between these tubes, NOS tubes have crystal clear sound and it all depends from your fingers , you do not need to change  settings on the Amp you play hard it Crunched you play smooth you have the best clear tones, i believe you would feel like me when i had that smile when i tryied my first Mullard ( there are many other good too , RFT, Siemens etc) ...

My technician told me that these tubes life is 15 to 20 years and do not woory , but and i feeled so uncomfortanle frighten i could not find in the future and bought like crazy from Ebay many many matched pairs :)))))))))))))))

Good Job Man !!! you just need some NOS 70's 80's Mullards from Ebay (ECC83 and EL34) and you 'll have the best sounding amp in the world :)

You could bias NOS Mullards @40mA and play all day for 15 years without problems :)

i used BAT 41 diodes and all mods and the effect works great with the settings  : VOL 2'clock, Tone 2'o clock , and SUSTAIN 9 o'clock when the SUS goes over the 9 o'clock the tone is getting dirty , do you have other results with 1n60 ???

thanks michael

Hi i think SLEEVES from the jacks and Circuit grounding will affect after all of the grounds go on the box (enclosure) to a general GROUND as you can see output SLEEVE dont be at all connected to ground in the schematics before boxed ,try to ground S9-input sleeve-output sleeve with crocodile wires and see if the problem is fixed.
