I have battery clip adapters for my daisy chain, so I get the same result without having to drill a hole for the dc jack.

So I have a 1st draft stage fright board and scheme that the Beaner let me solder, but I have only got it to faintly phase (the balls works though). It's in that stage where I need to take a break before I throw it out the window because you've gone over everything with a fine tooth comb to no avail (need voltages but bean was going through hell at the time I was puttering :( )

Anyway the Maestro is a dream pedal of mine and I'd reached the point that my time might equal the cost of buying an original. And I couldn't wait any longer and splurged. Got it for about $150 with shipping. Sounds AMAZING! Looks awesome on the inside too :) I can now take original voltages, though I don't think they will help with the bean board. (some diff parts).

The MP1 does not have LEDs for lighting up the wheel knobs like the Stage phaser, though there are holes drilled for LEDs. I am going to switch out the vintage dpdt to true bypass (I don't care about resale value) and am considering adding the two LEDs. Adding two LEDs won't sag the voltage, right? (just need someone's confirmation to make me feel better about doing this to a gorgeous pedal )

I never use this thing because all the gain is bunched up in a very small window at the end of the pot. Has anyone had any luck with a different pot value or other mods?

So as I build more...and more...and more pedals, I gotta keep buying little cables to connect em up (at this point to have essentially two different pedalboards).

Being that I don't think I can stop building pedals, i was thinking that it might be fun to make my own cables. Looking at supplies though it doesn't seem like I will save much money. 1/4" jacks are expensive.

Anyone make their own cables? Do you know where to find a deal on bulk instrument cable and jacks to make your own?

I'm trying to work out in my brain how to get that speed switch foot controllable. That setup with all three controls AND the bypass all done by footy... Wow.

I agree. The stage phaser had a huge footprint though,  if you do figure it out it would  have to be one of your favorite pedals to take up all that room.

I built a tonepad Ross.

The Ross+my serendipity using fralin humbuckered Les Paul copy and a Budda amp = fucking magical tone.

And Hazel used one too! Even better.

After the early Maggot Brain era fuzz face and marshall tone, his core sound came from a Music Man HD130 head and a Maestro Stage Phaser. (with some delay when the moment was right)

(until he fell off the wagon so hard in th 80's he pawned it all)

I can't wait. This just makes me want it more.

BTW...if you're an Eddie Hazel fan like me, this was his phaser.

I've had missing items bagged with other items and not labelled. (so not missing after all)

And 8.2k resistors instead of 6.2k but the color codes were easily confused with the faint stripes on the batch sent. Everything else spot on every time like 10 times now.
