I can't help you at all with this, but there is an interesting variation on this fuzz called the Wattson Classic Electronics EFY-6, which takes the original Univox Super Fuzz and adds some more controls. The tone switch is changed to a tone knob, and the amount of octave is controlled with a knob also.

The analog vs digital, especially for playback is completely overblown and irrational. The playback format should just accurately reproduce the sound of the recording, regardless of the format. Neil Young took forever to release his back catalog for digital release because he wanted to accurately capture the original sound, warts and all.

LAMF by the Heartbreakers sounds better on CD than on the original vinyl because the vinyl pressing was defective. Stadium Arcadium by the Red Hot Chili Peppers sounds better on vinyl than on CD because the original CD was mixed and mastered so loud, as part of the loudness war, that it was clipping. The vinyl release had a different mix and master to eliminate this. It had nothing to do with the original recording format or the release format, only the mix and master made the difference.

Well, let me translate that for not-so-well-educated people like me.

I "simply" have to twist two legs of the transistor Q4 as marked in the attachment (yellow arrow, lower left corner), right? Whereas I do not have to but anything into the middle hole...

This is exactly right. See my post here:

Build Reports / Re: For Jimi Lee... The Glass Bi-Hole

Very impressive. Could you detail your expression pedal mod? I came up with a very simple method that accomplishes the same thing, just varying the voltage going to the LED to control its brightness, but I haven't finished my build so I don't know if it gives a good sweep control.

Here's my method:

This guy made a pcb set for a eurorack version of the 12 stage phaser. He hasn't updated his build report yet though.

Aion has the Lab Series L-5 schematics and his preamp clone pcb. I have my doubts about the Lab Series and the PMS-15 having much in common.

I had bought a used broken wah that had been modded by Alchemy (for $10). It turned out that the pcb-mount input and output jacks were so stressed in the shell that the solder joints were all broken on both jacks. I filed down the plastic on the jacks so they fit without stress and reflowed the solder and it worked perfectly.

Then I ripped all of the parts out and turned it into a Tycobrahe Parapedal wah ;D

I think if you compare the rat's nest of vintage Gibson amps with the insanely complicated and difficult to repair Mesa Boogie amps, this pairing makes perfect sense.

Peavey Special 130 and Fender Princeton (non reverb) black face. I'm running my electric pianos through them so maybe not that helpful to you guys. They sound great through that Peavey though.

Here's a detail of the effects loop. You just have to lift one leg of capacitor C6, attach a wire to that lifted leg. Attach it to a 1u capacitor, then to the tip of your Send jack. Run a wire from the Send jack tip switch to the Return jack tip switch. Return tip is wired to another 1u capacitor, and then wired to the pad where C6 originally attached. The grounds of the Send and Return jacks have to be grounded, obviously. I'm not sure if those 1u capacitors are even necessary, but I know that it works this way :)

The Abductor II Delay was my 3rd ever build. I used film caps instead of ceramic in almost every instance because every noob knows that film caps sound better than ceramic. This was of course a terrible idea and made the build way more difficult than it should have been. Trying to stuff in giant film caps where tiny ceramics would have left plenty of room.

After I finished building this, it worked perfectly without any troubleshooting needed. I boxed it up, but then I saw an episode of That Pedal Show where they demoed a delay pedal where the delays had a sort of wah filter applied to them and I thought it sounded amazing so I decided I had to add a loop to mine also. Being a noob, I didn't really know where or how I could hack into the circuit so i just desoldered pads that seemed like they might work according to the schematic and then put the pedal aside in the partially complete pile for a few years.

Then a few months back I took another look at the schematic and found a place to add the loop in a way that can only be described as "stupid easy". Luckily, I'm not an enclosure masochist like some of you, so I still had room in my big enclosure to add the effects loop jacks.

As for the delay itself, it's great. Can get very lush and spacey with the 4 playback heads. I like to set the delay time rather short with lots of repeats and use it like a bizarre reverb. Again, sounds great on the Rhodes.

These were my 2nd and 3rd builds ever. Chasm uses the Long Belton brick because I wanted it to be nice and spacey. The enclosure lettering is stamped and one of just a few that I used stamps on. It is by far the best stamping I did before abandoning the method because it's extremely difficult to get a good result without ruining the lettering. I've entirely switch to Dymo labels.

The reverb sounds great, especially on my Rhodes. It fills in the space very well without sounding overly effected or distracting like other fancy shimmer reverbs and such.

The electoral college is severely misunderstood and demonized by tyrants who are devoted to mob rule. When electors began to lump their votes for the state popular vote winner, rather than by district, Hamilton, Madison, and Jefferson were appalled and considered another amendment, but it was too late by then.

The United States is not a democracy, but a republic. Democracies follow the will of the mob, while a republic [supposedly] defends the rights of the minority. Our system of limited government was designed to secure and protect the rights of the people, not to hand out and remove rights on a whim. The electoral college, much like the senate, are purposefully undemocratic, to ensure that each states' sovereignty is respected, and minority rights are not trampled by a few megacities. Small states that sign on to the National Popular Vote compact are voting to cede their citizens voices and sovereignty to the same big cities that hate them and call them flyover country.

The United States is more than a handful of crime and poverty infested corrupt cities dominated by the techno-Bolsheviks, and the electoral college is the only thing standing in the way from those same cities dominating the entire country.

P.S. I voted for Trump, not that it matters here in Kommiefornia. But I still had to ensure I voted against all the insane tax increases and regulations the Dems and their Public Employee Union stooges put on the ballot.
