AFAIK there wasn't a build doc as such for the Whetstone. Here's what I have.

Phase 45 is cool, I did a board recently for SMD JFETs. Was feeling impatient so just slapped on the first 2 MMBF5457s off a reel and hey presto - had phasing. Still need to box that one, was going to do an etched enclosure but it seems I need to practice my hot iron skills. Looking forward to the next installments, and to any and all phaser phamily photos.
Inspired by Dan's vfe Friday I decided to do phaser fridays. I have 5 phaser boards I've been meaning to do so it's the perfect time. So the next 5 weeks I will be giving Jimi something to drool over.
First up is a phase 45. Last year my cousin got my old phase 45 and phase 90. They were kit builds from when I first started building and he is like the world's biggest Van Halen fan so he got them when eddie died. So I ordered some new boards earlier this year. I don't like mini pedals (big feet, feels unstable) so I ordered the fuzzdog phase 45. They just call it a p45 and that's uninspired so I called it a smoothie like Brian's board. I had order a lot of 2n5952s from smallbear 2 years ago and when I went thru them I had 2 pairs and a quad so I lucked out. Sounds good, like a phase 45 should.
For the enclosure I used silk for the artwork, cause silk is smooth lol. She's actually a pretty badass character and hope the show she's getting will be good. No film waterslide decal on tayda matte orange powder coat. Phase on!

Does anyone have a ballpark of what something like that would cost sending overseas?
Probably about $25. Sending a single pedal from Function f(x) to someone in the UK usually runs between $22 and $26.

I like to partially assemble a board, then put it in a box of other partially assembled boards, then leave them there for 9 months. Next step is pulling them out and finishing half a dozen projects all in one go, with 3-5 rounds of ordering miscellaneous parts that could have been one order if I had any forethought

Hi, just become a new member of this Group and hopefully can get some help if needed.
I'm interested in Envirotex Lite questions and answers. Hope to read a lot. Thanks for adding me.

if you could take close pictures around the BBDs and the larger IC on the right (guess it's the compander), it would help to understand how they structured the gain stages.

Rockola, pizza looks good except for that pineapple, never ever heard of ketchup and pizza being compatible but all else good to go. When we do pizza we do two and on one anchovies are usually a topping of choice.
Pineapple, did once on a pizza, i love fresh pineapple but heat it, cook it or grill it, horrid, my mom would sometimes bake a pineapple upset down cake when i was a kid, didn't like what pineapple became then and nothing's changed.
Quote from: jimilee on January 31, 2021, 03:45:08 PMHere's a pizza inspired by a silly poll on Twitter. Wish I had the photography chops of davent, because it was actually rather tasty. I substituted tomato paste for ketchup but otherwise it has every single one of the hated ingredients: onion, anchovies, black olives, pineapple, jalapenos, mushrooms.
Nice Dave! I bake more than I cook. Here is my latest, it's a blueberry pastry. It tastes as good as it looks.

Quote from: thomasha on January 24, 2021, 12:46:17 PMI have one, in fact the gut shots you saw may be mine. It's a nice piece of gear EXCEPT for the flimsy wire harness between the boards which I course broke when taking it apart for some pics. No biggie, easy enough to fix when I get the time. Anyway, if you want better pics of some detail, just ask as mine is still in pieces.
Hi guys,
this is kind of late, but I just saw the DOD rubberneck for the first time, and OMG! 1.5s with 4xV3205s!
I saw some guts on another forum and all bias trimmers are missing.
Makes me question how did they bias it or powered the V3205s.
They are intended to be used at 5V, but work up to 8V.
Any higher and they produce no output no matter what (I tested it in my first bbd build).
What do you think? Is it really usable at higher delay times or does it get dark and distorted?
Was wondering if with some changes something like this would be possible using the dirty bag board, with some extra parts. Would be a nice thing to try, considering the price of the v3205s.
