I have a Keeley BD-2 acquired from a friend.  I really like this pedal but for one small annoying behavior it has.  For lack of a better way to describe it, there is a static fizzling out of notes as a chord or single note fades away.  Right at the tail end.  It is subtle, and not noticeable in a band situation with cymbals crashing, etc.  But I am most often sitting in my office facing the amp, and so I hear everything.   

People rave about this pedal, and I really do like it.  The static-y fade out can't just be part of the behavior of the pedal, can it?  I've never been able to pick it up in a demo.

I've tried different amps, cables, power supplies, guitars, all the usual.   Anybody else find this with these pedals?

Hi everyone.   I've decided to finally build some pedals now that I (sort of) have the time.  My experience is limited.  I've tinkered with modding guitars a bit, recently built a speaker cabinet, and a couple years ago I built a single-knob fuzz that didn't turn out very well 

I think the crux of my projects has been lack of proper workspace and tools.   I'm going to build a dedicated bench this time around, and spend some time upgrading my current tools, and acquiring those that I lack before starting my first build.   So this is just a general request for advice on what to have on hand to make life a bit easier.  I know for one I need a new soldering iron... the one I have is crap.   Any other suggestions for Can't-live-without equipment is appreciated.

Hello!  First time poster here.  I have a Madbean Octavia clone that I got in trade for another pedal.  For the most part it is functional, but it has a couple issues.  The first is what I would describe as volume fluctuation when the pedal is engaged.  It seems to flutter, or fade in and out.  The second issue is that the pedal seems to interfere with the signal even when bypassed.  There is less volume, and the tone sounds muffled.  I'd like to fix these issues myself if possible.

About me and my skills: I have a soldering iron and multimeter, and though I am not a pro with either, I am not afraid to use them.  Just looking for a starting point and some tips/encouragement before I get started.

I'll browse these forums for similar topics in the meantime, but if anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it.  Thanks!
