when i have the delay at min up to about 9 o'clock i get massive scratchy noise. Delay above that is fine.  I have calibrated and adjusted the clock to min (shortest, cleanest repeats). running the pedal at 12vdc. Any ideas

AB 2016. My pedalboard only has one available ps tap and it's 12vdc. The pedal is all setup for 9v and working fine. ok?

just finished a harbinger 1.5 and mine is squealing too. i'm using the charge pump option. the vibe and everything works but there is a high pitched squeal. any ideas?

Solved:  swapped out the charge pump IC. i really need to learn to socket all IC's

Been rolling VTL's and the build doc has a pic of an assembled unit. To me it looks like the VTL is upside down with the + and Cathode on the wrong side. I'm having a crisis and i need clarification on the orientation of the Vactrol. Now my pcb is black (maybe a different circuit?)

update: after some continuity testing on the board it looks like the build image is correct!

socketed and swapped the vactrol , issue resolved

The compressor is working and all the controls function but when the compression is over 12 o'clock there is a slight warble in the tone almost like a vibrato on an amp. how do i stop that?

Got this board from a member. Scoured the long thread at FSB and the BOM links are dead as the hosting site is defunct. I have collected different portions of the build such as Caps list and other lists that don't match up at all. Any help would be appreciated, i've posted for help over there but no responses.

a byo lunchbox amp ala tiny terror would be great, the smaller the better!

please advise. some people say you can substitute these no problem, some say you cannot if they are in the audio path.

i ran out of Electrolytics. Are these tantulum ok or should i pull them?

Definitely use a plastic power jack or your R57 will start smoking.
