Both the pedal and the tutorial are top notch!

Thanks, glad I could be of help. If you find areas that need correcting, please let me know. I'm in talks with PPP about making it part of their website.

Thanks, everyone. I posted this quite a while ago. I don't know why it suddenly got views today! Glad you enjoy it and got a laugh or two. Humor is my favorite ingredient in pedal graphics.

It is another PPP print. I have typed up a draft tutorial on how I do the prints. I will attach it below.

How do you like the two h9's and es8?? I'm considering either the strymon trinity or a couple of h9's, and an Es-8 to control

So sorry, I just now saw that you asked this. I love the two H9's paired with the ES8. The carry over function of the looper makes it possible to make seamless transitions of complex patches. I show a little of how I integrate the H9's with the ES8 here:

This is beautiful, i hope it sounds even half as good as it looks.
I have to try a duel overdrive like this I love the idea.

Thanks! Here is a quick demo I did on my phone before shipping it to the owner:

Build Reports / Explosive Rat Clone

This was a productive week for me. In addition to "Mr. Fusion," I just finished up my first Rat clone. Continuing with my quest for humorous graphics, I tried to think of what would be the opposite of a Rat. I thought of a cat, and the yellow PCB reminded me of the firecrackers I loved to light yesterday, I mean, when I was a kid.

This is another Aion board. It incorporates the "Ruetz" mod as well as select-able clipping. I purchased and installed the original LM308chips, but found that I actually prefer sound of LED clipping with the OP07 chips. But I always send the vintage and new spec chips to the new owners. They can decide for themselves.

Govmnt_lacky is correct: I had hoped for top jacks, but it was just too tight in this enclosure with the graphics laid out like that, especially on the dual pot board.

This is another UV print from PPP. I think that I have perfected the process. Stay tuned for my favorite graphics to date on a batch of Rat clones!

Build Reports / Dual Overdrive

A friend asked me to make him a dual overdrive with graphics inspired by "Back to the Future." I used two Aion boards to make a Bluesbreaker based circuit that took the best of the Morning Glory and Prince of Tone, and an OD-820 on the other side. I used a GPCB "Easy Order Switch" to allow the user to switch effect order. The other enclosures I have will come with grey knobs, but the guy who ordered this one asked for clear ones.

Thanks, guys! I have some other upcoming pedals with my favorite graphics thus far.

Tidy! Aren't those Lumberg jacks the best? If they weren't so (relatively) expensive, I'd use them on everything.

I finished two of a batch of 4 Aion Tube Screamers. For the graphics, I took inspiration from Edvard Munch's "The Scream" Fun builds, and sound great.
The Sparkle White one has the "Fat" Mod with stock and Zendrive clipping. The gloss white was ordered with the "Bright Mod" and the same clipping. Powder coat and UV printing by PPP.

The Sea Pig and power supply gave me a good laugh. I like a little humor in my pedals too.

This is the pedalboard I recently finished. I wanted to build something with a switcher to make it easier to demo pedals with friends. The Boss ES-8 allows you to change effects order, has midi control, and allows you to customize the buttons on the panel. I built all of the drives and the compressor.  I also soldered every single cable on the board, which is a Trailer Trash 28x16:

The outputs, midi connection, and a courtesy 9V to demo off-board pedals.
