Build Reports / Re: Madbean Lowrider
April 21, 2015, 02:17:17 PM
Thanks guys,
The main reason I started building pedals, besides the fact that it becomes addicting very quickly, is to have an assortment of possibilities to create songs on my RC-50 (loop station). This is why I explore the sounds you can create which one would not quickly use in a normal band/stage situation.
But I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it and even found it helpful from what I gather.
Thank you for the kind words.
I've scouted the inet enough to know there is sort of an unwritten rule that one adds a gutshot. Mine may be predictable end not very spectacular, but here it is none the less :)

It's been waiting around to be pimped for a while now, but I finally got around to making a demo.
Thanks for your wonderful work, madbean!

Mods / Re: Simple Tails mod for delays.

Hi all,

As a novice, before I start to wrap my brains around this, is this mod also applicable in the Rebote3? (which I have already built, but not boxed)
Thanks :)

Mods / Re: Lowrider - Lower octaves volume increase mod?
December 01, 2014, 12:51:24 AM
I'm really taking the dust off this topic lol.
I have just finished my LowRider and with some tweaking and learning how to use it, it turned out to be a "not half bad" octaver. As for the DOCT2 volume: I currently have a 10k for R46 and that works great. Haven't tried to bring it back up to say 15-25k, but anything over 50k just didn't give me the volume I wanted. I also did all the stuff for the UOCT and it is now way too loud for me, so I'm still working on that. I do hear some tracking going on in the UOCT btw. It's not like "in your face octave up", but something is def there.
And the DOCT1 I use 60k on R55 which is okay, but I might go for 40-50k there. Those are the values that work for me as far as volume is concerned. Hope that was still helpfull after all this time. Otherwise it might be in the future as it was now for me :)

General Questions / Re: Pearl OC-7 Octaver low rider
September 30, 2014, 10:07:33 AM
The LowRider PCB made it safely to my house in the Netherlands. It's gonna be a while before I can get started on it, but once I do I'll post, hopefully with a soundclip. The diy OC-2 single octave is pretty much unusable for me since it doesn't track well. It's main usage will be to add basslines to loops on my RC-50. Anyway, thanks for excellent packing and fast sending, Brian.

Kind regards,
Remy

Open Discussion / Re: First Names - we all got em.

Hello all,

My name is Remy.

P.S.
Thanks for sending out that LowRider PCB today, madbean.
Been driving myself crazy with various OC-2 (single octave version) vero builds that just wouldn't work properly. Looking forward to the build!
