bump?

Hey guys, Built a Kingslayer a good while ago and wanted to test out some different diodes in it.  Currently I have a set of D9Es and a Set of OA1160s as hard clippers and a two mosfets with a bat46 on one side for soft clippers.  The pedal sounds fantastic, though Ive noticed that there is a slight gating that the diodes are doing during the decay of the notes, cutting off the sustain.  any clue as to what this would be?  I checked the usual things like IC voltages, I just didn't know if this was specific character of the diodes or if it may be something I could do to change this.  Any help you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated.

I'm making a combo pedal of the Madbean Lowrider with a version of the Bazz Fuss built in for a bass player of mine.  i'm running the Lowrider before the fuzz for better tracking and I was wondering if it would be possible to have the dry volume section of the lowrider bypass the fuzz to allow for a clean blend on top of the fuzz.  Im trying to see if I would be able to do this without having to build something like a splitter/blend into it since there is already very limited space within the pedal with the two effects.

I tried wiring the middle lug of the clean pot to the output jack and it didnt work.  Would somebody mind enlightening me into why this doesnt work?  I'm still learning so I like to know why something didnt work when I tried it.

Hey guys, I have built a kingslayer circuit a couple of years ago and I included the OD switch to switch between Hard Clipper and Soft Clippers.  I have noticed over the years that when I engage the hard clipping section, the volume boost is just a tad bit too much, is there a way I could slightly attenuate the volume when I engage the hard clipping section, My thought would be to add a resistor in with the switch that selects the hard clipping diodes but I'm not entirely happy with the results, is there any other way of doing this?

First off, Thank you to madbean for creating an uberly cool pedal with the Moodring.  Ive been modifying it for a few months now with a lot of interesting effects, but there are a few that I have myself kind of stumped on.

1.  Is it possible to add in an effects loop to the moodring, so that you can further effect the Wet section of it without effecting the dry section.

2. I tried the feedback mod for the delay section, but it doesnt quite get what im thinking, I dont know much about the belton bricks or digital signal processing at all but I was hoping there was a way I could hear more delay repeats (at the time of the initial delay) in with the reverb.  the way it works on me now is that I set my pre delay for the verb and once the pre delay cycles, then its just super short reverb type delay.  am I doning something Wrong?

Ok.  I measured the voltage on the regulator and I'm getting 9 volts, I know this is a problem so I need to change out the regulator.  the only thing is, I have seen similar problems come up that have the same voltage regulator problem, but its a different problem...

Also, the voltage regulator is a L7805ABV.  I was always a bit weird about it, because it doesnt look like the one in build pictures.  it's bigger and more square...  could this be it?

Ok.  did a bit of checking.  resoldered a few things and cleaned up a bit.  now the same problem happens, but this time, when I hit the Detune footswitch, the green LED comes on.  This is the only time Ive been able to get an LED to light up.  im going to flip the voltage regulator and see if that makes any difference...

Ive checked all of the joints on the Rec switch.  nothing looks wrong or weird.

So I just finished up a build of the Loophole Lo Fi Looper with the Vibrato mods from Jakefuzz and I can't get it to work.  when I plug it in, I get dry signal (with quite a bit of noise) and if I hit record, nothing happens.  no LEDs or anything, but when I click the play foot switch, my signal drops out and is replaced by this velcro ripping buzz with no signal behind it.  none of the controls do anything to change anything with the buzz and the detune doesn't work either.

Also, the voltage regulator gets very hot, very quickly when I hit the play switch.  I have been picking at this thing for several hours and am close to pulling my hair out.  any suggestions?  I have built several successful pedals in the past.  this one is just throwing me for a loop (no pun intended)
