Messages - CheapChip

Thanks for your replies, mates!

My idea was rather an adaptation with PT2399 based chorus than a simple chip swapping  ;)
In fact, 3 GLAM-ish effect circuits with a tri-LFO modulation or a 3 GLAM circuits with each LFO sync'ed and shifted from each other.
I found some schematics like this one:
http://www.schmitzbits.de/triphase.html
Sounds like a good starting place.  ;)

Anyway, I'm going to ask for infos on D.I.Y Synth forums.
I'll post here again if my project is successful!  :D

Thanks again!

Hi everyone,

As said above, I'd like to build a triple chorus based on Brian's GLAM project.
Largely inspired by the "J.HAIBLE Chorus" (http://jhaible.com/legacy/triple_chorus/triple_chorus.html), I'd like to sync LFO's and shift their phase 120° from each other to obtain a fat and lush effect.
Of course, I'd like to keep a speed control on modulation.

I'm sure it's not so hard, but I can't figure how to do that... :-[

OK, that's what I thought, but I wanted to be sure before I make any board: don't have any other way to verify it works...  :-\

Thanks Juan! As you said, I'm sure these filters are great ! ;-)

Hi there!

I would like to modify a Sea Urchin delay to adapt the SZSDX "analog" and "tape" filter section on a self-etched board.
But there's something I don't understand: what is the "VR" supply point on the schematic? Power of the tl074 is supplied by the closest "+9v" point, right?

Thanks!

Mods / Bloviator mods questions...
September 10, 2014, 07:36:51 AM
Hi,

I'm planning to build a Bloviator soon, and I'd like to mod it with ideas I found about Bajaman's Sonic Stump as Bloviator is based on this project.
All mods are shown within this topic on FSB:
http://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=395&start=80
But I have a question about putting switches and caps for C4 and C5:
How can I determine values of those switched caps if want to control specific frequencies.
For example: I think i'll use it with a bass guitar (with input cap "bass mod") and I'd like to tweak on 110hz, 220hz, or such frequencies with "Contour" pot. How can I find the correct cap value?
2nd thing: I'd like to make the same thing with the "Mid Pot mod" (replacing R16 with a 10k resistor + a 50k pot). Which cap have I to replace with a switch + caps?

Many thanks!
