anyone built this with the MN3005, notes say to discard D2 so is it left empty or jumpered?

Got a repair job off ebay but the wiring looks wrong to me. anyone post some good wiring pics close ups. thanks in advance

I want to try this little project, the mangle fuzz based on the fuse face, in the materials list it says Q1 and Q2 transistors, does anyone know in detail which ones i should be getting?
