Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace? Awesome builds, your batch posts help satiate the craving.

I'm in love with your artwork, but how the heck do you keep the boardless circuit from shorting any time it's moved? I like the organized chaos inside with such polished intrigue outside ;D Did you think about trying to put the switch on the hub of the bicycle? It looks like there wouldn't have been a way, but I hope the stuff I build looks even half as lovely as all of these!

Good god this is gorgeous, why don't more people put a little wear on the corners? I have an old boss HM-2 from my uncle that looks beat a quarter to hell, and I love it. Let's start a weathered pedal trend  ;)

Spot on with the design choice, I would mistake for a piano at a glance... a very distant piano. For some reason the uber-packed PCB had me stunned, and the wiring is so tight and clean :o Really awesome build!

Hey guys, new to the forum (well... new-ish. I'm kinda lurking/learning), this thread is right up my alley and I hope I get to build a DI when I get funds! I've been looking for something I may have seen a build of, anybody have links for an amp/cab emulator or, maybe, what tone-shaping considerations I should make designing my own? I know enough to (with Google) get myself through a project stem to stern, so I was hoping to design at least the schematic.

The drive in question is a 6 week old Samsung 840 Pro.  Supposedly one of the more reliable ones.

Well... I thought I was safe, but these drives are supposed to be bulletproof! My money is all on you getting the dud. Sorry to hear it went dead, but at least you had a semi-recent backup.
