Thanks guys. Lace, yeah very true, I just got lazy with the soldering (I wasn't being stingy) but the stability is very good point, I didn't think of that.  The white washers will all be replaced with metal ones when I can find some.

I guess the build report was a bit no-frills, as for the sound... Awesome. I thought the HF span was subtle both in alanp's pcb and this one, how is it one your original?  It became more obvious when I did the 2k mod on the span pots. Also, it makes the LF span go from phasing to wah-ing which is kinda cool.  I used the futurlec spec'd LDR's.

I don't really use the color or blend pots, I just leave them maxed out.

I wound up buying a Cioks AC10. As well as the schumann (still not bloody going), it powers Heavy Water, and more importantly my eurorack synth

Oh, and the 9VDC are useful for some esoteric electronics as well, from time to time

I was getting ready to pull the trigger on a cioks till I found out what it was and how much it cost!  I'm just building the PLL just for the hell of it, it's not really something I have a use for so I'm gonna have to go for a more economical solution. Which PLL did you make, vero or PCB?

I'm currently working my way through a vero of the Schumann pll and I'm trying to find a 12VAC adapter but no luck. All the adapters I can see on eBay are acdc. I'm in the uk, anyone have any suggestions where I can find such a contraption?

Looks great and the off board wiring looks fine to me. I'm in the middle of building mine at the moment, just waiting for a few parts.

Anyone know what riffs Andy from pgs is playing in this video. The riff at the start of the vid and the riff at 2:20 into the vid.

I'm sure I've heard that riff before somewhere but it's been irritating me all week as I can't identify it.
