You keep this up and we're gonna run out of EHX effects!

Or are we 8)

FYI the Red Llama was really a Craig Anderton effect which I think might have come first.

Are you a vero man?
Vero is cool, perf is the devil. I'm curious to see what you cooked up.
Well, I wouldn't say "I" cooked it up, it's just the Memory Man LFO on a scrap of vero :)

My vero skills are a little rusty but I think this checks out, as the layout says, remove C8 on the RustBucket board and insert the connections from the daughterboard in its place. You'll need to find a suitable place to tap ground & -15V from (Pin 7 of the 4047 is @ -15V and pin 14 is ground).

There may be some adjustment necessary as it'll affect the clock frequency, measure the clock frequency at pin 10 of the 4047 before adding the board and after with the new depth pot set to minimum.

Edit: Missed a trick to call this the rusty venture...

That is a sweet idea!
Been thinking for a while I'd like to do a different take on the circuit. Maybe combining like a slow gear with a PT2399. Something run on 9v. Possibly something could be done with the FV1 too. What would really cool is to have the same kind of envelope control as the AD with a freeze effect.
A single 571 could replace both the input compressor and the output VCA, use a PT2399 for the delay & keep the AD circuitry.

Dude how can you tease us like that.

Sounds like a really cool idea.
I don't even know why the idea came to me! I haven't thought about the Attack Decay in ages and suddenly while thinking of switch pop of all things, there it was.

Shouldn't be hard to add on a daughterboard, I'll help if someone wants to test the idea.

Haven't the time to try it, but hacking the Deluxe Memory Man modulation section on to the Rustbucket could add some interesting finger movement to those violin & cello tones.

Might even get a bit analogue mellotron.

The MN3005 gain isn't exactly 1 and multiplies with each BBD, reducing the value of R23/24, 29/30 to 47k (Edit: those are the part numbers on the 2019 version) will probably solve the feedback issue.

Higher clock will mean cleaner repeats, run it at 10kHz for 400mS and good fidelity.

I have no idea where this came from, but man, I hope that guy never stops believing.
You've never seen The Lost Boys? :o

Peaks & Notches, notice how the output diff-amp is already set for slightly reduced gain? Try turning those 8k2's in to 7k5.

This is awesome! I had an original Bad Stone back in the day, and I still have a Bloodstone board jubal81 PIFed me that I need to debug and box. I agree, it gets into ring mod territory at the fastest speeds. Do you find it has a more metallic swoosh? That's kind of what I'm hoping for on my next phaser build.
Its an ota phaser
It's actually CMOS so technically, a MOSFET phaser!

I would say the Countdown is what you're searching for, but I've heard whispers I work for Lectric-FX and may be biased  8)  ;D

Nice build as always. That is my favorite by far of the Marvel movies. It's hilarious, and a fun ride. But if you start a movie with Thor fighting a dragon over the Immigrant Song, odds are you have already completely won me over.

Though, as another "not a phaser guy" I'm a little worried that that you and Jimi are gonna show up on my doorstep with torches now. ;)
This is the testing I finally hunt down "not a phaser guy" guys. They're cropping up more and more.

I didn't used to be a phaser guy.

I was wrong.

It'll remove a lot of high end, probably smooth out the clipping quite a bit too.

I almost said bucket! But I was like, why would he have a bucket?

The shame I feel...

It should be a 4u7, Bean obviously had the same idea as you and wanted to use all 1uF Poly on the Recall.

There's a 20k internal resistance on the 571, so you might lose a hair of base with 1u.

My music area is in disarray because of distance learning, my oldest is using my recording computer and desk as her classroom. Here is a quick and dirty sneak peak with the phone of this thing. Strat>dc echo>blackface fender.

You don't need to make excuses for your pink butterfly bag.

Nice clip man, shows the core tone off nicely.
