Welcome to an addictive hobby!

Nice work! Rullywowr's SHO was my first and 3rd 1590A builds. I painted one with gray hammered paint, it's a nice look! I like the truck bed liner texture, would have never thought to use something like that!

Love it! I wonder if anyone else noticed the slider?

I'm a sucker though... I'm in on this current bundle deal! You really can't go wrong though.

I'll usually populate the 2 or 3 that I'm most interested in and that makes it worth it already. After sitting around a while I'll unload the extras on the community.

Build Reports / Re: 125B Pedalboard

Love it! The 125B is such a sensible box. You can fit a lot in a small space with top mounted jacks. Yet I still find myself cramming stuff into 1590a boxes from time to time...

Mojo is fun isn't it? I have yet to do a mojo build but I have some tropical fish laying around and a few other parts I might put together soon. Great build!

Yeah the pop is inherent in the design I believe. It's not something you would be likely to change on the fly. Just make sure to bypass before changing modes on stage! Very nice build by the way. Very ambitious for a first delay, I love it! The multiplex is a Great effect!

I haven't yet gotten around to warterslide decals/etching or any of the other clean/pretty finishing techniques so I'm just exploring all the looks I can get out of a rattle can, so far I've had good success with distressed looking pedals and I like how this one turned out as well. For the labels, I used an engraver freehand, then I paint the base color a few coats, then I paint the text color since the engraving is still lower than the paint, wait for it to dry and sand it flat so the words stand out. This method can look as clean as my handwriting with an engraver... I have admittedly sloppy handwriting...

General Questions / Re: Multi build noise question

Scientifically what causes heterodyning of the clocks? Is it just that the interaction between them effectively lowers the frequency?

Ok that's kind of what I figured. I guess I'll just remove the feedback switch since it seems fine without feedback.

General Questions / Multi build noise question
November 29, 2014, 10:42:55 PM
I'm working on a multi with a distortion, phaser, and chorus. I currently have the phase and chorus pcbs on the breadboard they are guitarpcb dr phybes (p90) and mini-me chorus. I'm running the phase into the chorus. When I switch the feedback on for the phaser I get noise from the chorus clock, it's a chirp sort of sound. Is this something that should sort itself out with careful wiring once boxed? It seems to be fine without feedback on the phase shifter. If the noise is inherent, I'll just leave the feedback switch off.
