Oh, exactly. It's been off my board for a while, but with the two amps I've built recently, I've been swapping out overdrives, and when this issue came up, it caught my curiosity more than anything.

So far the things that I've done are:

- Current setup: Klon powered by the DC10, TimeLine on it's on PSU
- I tried both on the DC10, with the TimeLine in one of the high current spots
- I tried Klon on a 1spot, and the Timeline on it's own, and in the DC10.

Same issue. I'll try a different charge pump, and if that doesn't work, then I'll just take it off the board until I can pick up a 4x4 or something, because my goal is to eventually have all three Big Strymon pedals on my board, 2 down, 1 to go there.

Nice. Well, I may try that then and see what happens. Will just wait until the next time I buy parts.

Love my TimeLine. I've had it for about a year now, and it's a lot of fun. Just recently put a Klon back on my board (I have a love/hate relationship with that one), and there is a faint, but noticeable, whine/noise that is completely interactive with the TimeLine's Grit control. Changes pitch as you turn it.

I've been trying to read up on it, and it seems as though I'm not the only one that's had this issue, but no one has a solution. Klon is powered by my CIOKS DC10, the Timeline on it's own, separate, power supply. Seems like it may be charge pump related. I am using 7660SPCA charge pumps in my klon. Maybe I'll pick up a 1044SPCA and see what happens.

Anyone else have this issue?

Inkscape is a free and open source vector graphics editor that's available on a variety of platforms. (I've used it on Windows and OSX.) I think it's supposed to compare to Adobe Illustrator.  There's a not insignificant learning curve and a few glitches, but I think I've used it for almost every waterslide graphic I've done -- and there are MUCH better examples of Inkscape graphics out there than mine, trust me.  It's fairly easy to import PDF enclosure layouts and drill guides and design around those.

This is what I use too. I use GIMP if i need to edit an image, but then i import it into inkscape for a pedal layout. I wish they would develop a native Mac version like GIMP has, but the X11 version is fine.

Lately... it's a whole lot of Jason Isbell and Noah Gunderson. Two of the best storytellers through song out there today.

She is adorable! Congrats!

Yeah, it has. Saving up, selling stuff, now to make it happen. I think it opens up a HUGE realm of possibilities of random crap to make/sell to make the money back, haha.

I've always wanted a CNC. and this may be the one a friend of mine and I may go halfsies on. Inventables is doing a lot of cool things with this as far as mods and upgrades, and they web based software, Easel, that they are developing looks really promising.

I would look for a used Blue M lab oven on eBay.  Most of them take 120v and they hold their temperature more consistent than cheaper ovens.

I don't know what your budget is, but you can find deals if you are patient.  You should be able to find one that is big enough for your needs, but not all are, so double check the interior dimensions.

Thanks. I will keep my eye on those. The price isn't way out of my range, will just take a little longer to build. I really just would like something like and 18" cube. Maybe I should look into building something of my own? No idea. I just know my old method of coating just isn't cutting it in my new space.

Hey guys,

I had been powder coating for a while using just a little toaster oven. I'm starting to do some large items, like long faceplates for amps that are too long for the toaster oven. I have no 220V in my garage and really don't have the space in the garage to put a used oven. Do you think a little propane camping stove like this one would work? The 10x16x10 interior dimensions are perfect for what I need. Thing can run at 350degrees F for like 5-7 hours on 1 gallon of propane.

Another big Frisell fan here.

One of my favorites of him. I could sit down and listen to him tell stories and play guitar all day long

And that Carr Sportsman... sheesh.

I'm GAS-ing for a BigSky and a DMC-6D controller... that would complete the "trio" for me, and the controller would be a nice addition.
