You have now entered into the danger zone.  This is very addictive.  Great job.

I've had that happen before and I didn't have it grounded right.

I started doing this just to see if I could and I believe I bought 2 kits in Nov 2014. Then I found GuitarPCB, then Madbean (with all the different vendors) and then the group buys. I have built over 60 pedals and have 10 or so in various stages of build and that's not counting the store bought ones I have. From what I hear Meth is the most addictive drug out there (if it isn't pardon my ignorance).  I consider the addiction rate for this hobby right up there, LOL.

My wife is cool with it I guess but when she sees another completed one I get the same question, i.e., why do you need so many?  My answer, it keeps me out of the bars LOL. I guess I am obsessed but I am sure there 100's out there that have built more than me.

But the sense of accomplishment when that pedal fires up the first time is just awesome.

Thanks Cody. Just another temptation you have alerted me to LOL.

Really nice. The picture of the Fast Back delay sitting on top of the Marantz Receiver is way cool. Takes me back many many years. Vintage stereo equipment is just so classy.

Its a 10K but I replaced it with another one. I reflowed all the solder points and I am still getting the 1.44 on Q1, nothing at Q2 and I am getting a 4.47 now on the collector of Q3. But now I have no bypass just a loud din when off or on.  >:( :o This one is really testing my patience.

Sorry it's taken so long to respond back. I have like 4 builds that have just gone to crap and I am just really frustrated.  When I get to that point I put them up and ponder on what Ive done wrong (perhaps I shouldn't be building these things is what I usually think). This seems to come in cycles. I build 5 or 6 with no problems and then a tornado hits.

The only voltage I am getting is 1.44 on the base of Q1. Nothing on 2 or 3 and I have the balance pot turned all the way up.

I am getting a -8.92 at -9 pad on BB.

Stevie that came out great. I like the dovetails. Did you make templates of your side boards? If not, before you separate yourself from the other boards you have get some mdf and make a pattern. If you ever want a bigger board just extend the length of it. That will save you a lot of time an effort. You have more woodworking skills than you led on too. Great job.

Screwed that up. Now the -9 from RR is going to the -9 on BB and G from RR to G on BB. Now I get a 0 on all transistors except a -.05 on Q1 and Q3 base. Still bypass but zero when switched on.
#539
Yes. -8.89 and 0 on ground Pts. all transistors are still registering positive 9s.

I am getting a -9.1v.
