Better to ask and get it right than assume and get it wrong. It will all come together soon.

You want a 100C pot. That is a reverse audio pot.

The green 3mm LEDs sounded great to me. That was while it was working. I plugged it in this morning and I get pass through but no effect when I turn it on.   >:( >:( >:( >:( I don't know what I did to it.  I went back and reflowed all the off board connections which did no good. Back to the troubleshooting drawing board (which I am termendously efficient at). Same thing happened when I replaced a pot on a Krypton Phaser which I destroyed in the process and it was such a great sounding pedal. GOSH!!!!!

Finished this up tonight. My printer ran out of red ink so it didn't print like it was supposed to but I just said to heck with it. It looks different. LOL.

Welcome Ruben. Looking forward to seeing your builds. Spent 3 years stationed in your country, good lord this sounds ancient, in the late 70's.  My sister-in-law still lives over there south of Nijmegen. Great having you here.

I would certainly be willing to pre-pay. I done it for several boards and would have no problem doing it for this. I can also understand your hesitation after the Xvive deal.

Nice looking as always. Just curious, how many pedals do you have? LOL.
A bunch, and two years ago I sold a bunch, I can't
Imagine what it would look like had I not sold them.

These things multiple like rabbits. And I have proof because Brian has the Rabbit Hole board ;D. My wife continues to look at "those little boxes as she calls them" and asks what do you need all those for?  I don't have a very good reply anymore.

Wow. That's incredible. Never thought about turning the board sideways. Very nice build.

Really nice looking. One of these days I have to take mine out of the not working box and try to fix it.

Build Reports / Green Bean Build

This is the I believe my 4th variant of a Tube Screamer that I have built.  The other 3 just have never produced the sound I wanted and there was something always missing. I would put them on my board and try to pretend I liked them and would end up taking them back off. I never had a real one so nothing to compare the builds too. So I put this together last night and finished today.  I was hoping it wouldn't be like the others, to bright, not enough dirt, etc... etc... I normally won't put a pedal on my board till it is finished.  This pedal surprised me so much that it got boxed and is going on stage in the morning. It has the sound I've been looking for when I turn the tone down below half and adjust with my guitar.  It has just that right amount of dirt when I click on the LEDs and flip the fat switch. This one is a real winner IMO and if your looking for a pedal that will provide a reasonable amount of dirt thats not full blown over the edge this could be it. I build it using Madbean's version. And Brian if you view this thanks for the great design.

Ok. For standard wiring what m-K sent you will work.

I'm not questioning your intelligence here.  When you hooked up the 3pdt board did you run all the pcb hookups to the front pads on the 3pdt pcb? Your power goes into the 3pdt pcb and is wired off of it to you 9v input. You only have an in, out, power and an
extra ground pad coming off the main board.  If you have it hooked up right my next suggestion would be to check your ground points. If it's not grounded you will get no sound.  Do you have power? Also, and I know this can be a hassle but a picture would be very helpful. You post a picture and someone will at least let you know if your wiring is wrong.  Hang in there. I hate it when my pedals don't work because I'm not good at troubleshooting.
