this is what www.gilmourish.com says about the gear and settings on the pulse-version of "time"

MXR Dynacomp (intro)
- sustain 10:00, volume 2:00
Ibanez CP-9 (intro)

Boss CE-2
- speed 11:00, depth 1:00
TC Electronics 2290 (intro/solo)

Lexicon PCM 70 (intro)

Chandler Tube Driver

I would make a little veroboard-slambox with a optional mastervolume controlled by the toggle-switch!

good to hear!

I looks like the fuzz-pot might be touching the enclosure with one of its legs in the top left corner (?) I accidetly had that problem with a cosmopolitan I made a while back ago. I just put some paper between it and the box.

might be worth to have a quick look at.

Man I've been waiting to see this one! was wondering how the build was going. Very glad to see you've finished it! Please to describe your experience a little more, how hard was it, anything special to should think about If one was to tackle this project?

haha, my bad, offcourse the name means the same here :) didn't realise pappa spelled like that in english :) anyway, as I said, that pot will most likely work!

After reading your alias a little closer I suspect you're swedish so...

Jag skulle nog chansa på att den funkar, i värsta fall kan du fila ner skaftet lite men jag antar att det ska sitta en vanlig "chickenhead"-knapp på och skaftet är ej för långt för dessa.

Tech Help - Projects Page / perfboard Rump Roast
July 14, 2012, 10:57:59 AM
I'm trying to build a perfoboard rumproast but I'm having trouble understanding things here. This is my second try at this and so far I just completed the powersection, T1 and sockets for Q1, when I hook this up to 9V and tryng to Bias Q1, just the socket, my 50K T1 just goes from 8.47V - 8.51V. This was the problem with my first completed perfboard. Am I missing something here? I'm using ver.1 schematics.

Make sure you didn't mix up the wiring from the toggle-switch. It sound to me like you mixed up lug 2 with either lug 1 or 3 on the switch and therefor are only grounding one of the two clipping-sections.

Its a good idea to drill some holes in a piece of aluminum and use it like a test area. That way you don't have to ground the ouput jack when you rock it before you box it.

Can't really see in the video but did you wire the ground on the output-jack? You need to do this if you want i to work outside the enclosure. My guess is that the pedal will work if you simply put it in the enclosure cause the output jack will be grounded through the box (assuming you use a metalbox).

+1 one on Black Keys lately, allso Rival Sons and lots and lots of Pink Floyd

This doesn't answer your question really, but maybe you could breadboard the cosmopolitan? It gives you lots and lots of different fuzz tones that satisfy me when whenever my fuzz-faces, bender (and muff-fuzzes for that matter) don't do the trick.
