That does look pretty sweet! I really like the
Gold finish.

prince.org suggests it's feedback coupled with a boss flanger, the silver screw ones from Japan can get a very interesting "pew pew" sound. I figure it's oscillation of some sort.

Thanks for info! I'll have to check out that flanger.
The AF2 Airplane flanger, does some cool, out of sync, kinda sounds like that. I just didn't want to buy the thing!
I would think there would be some way to modify one. That or see what's under the hood of a boss flanger

That very well could be studio stuff. I  know he recorded stuff backwards, in many places, from that album.

I was hoping there was some type of effect pedal that could give that
Same random skippy squeal!

Bottleneck perhaps? Very high, somewhere above the pickups?

Yeah, I could hear some slide in there, but how does it get that ripple squeal sound, right towards the end of that riff?

There is this sound on guitar, at the beginning, and end of "Computer Blue"'.

I've been told it is feedback, but it reminds me of Ibanez AF2, when you turn the Enhance control. It's like a high pitch squeal, that changes
it's pattern, or tempo. I know he used mainly Boss pedals, along with a wah. I just can't figure out what he's doing there!

Any idea's? Link below!

I'm not sure what it is, but I think there wire is some of the best stuff! It's super flexible, at the soldering joints. When I started building pedals it was much cheaper to buy from guitar gcb. , or Tayda, but I have to be so careful boxing my board in the box. It never fails, for the wire to break right at the board! But the Radio shack wire, never a problem! I've not been in our local shack for a couple months, I'm gonna have to see what's left

In the collection of the records that my uncle gave to me, was "Tales of Mystery and Imagination". The weird thing about the record,
is that it is made of a clear, yellow vinyl. He was not sure why, cause he did not purchase it in a record store.

It's funny I go to these "older band" type concerts, and there is no young people! I just went to see a Yes concert, no young people
anywhere! Than again I'm 39, so I guess I have to quit thinking I'm so young ;D

Which was a good concert, except they played "Drama" (awesome album!), the second set was "Tales of Topographic Oceans", which
I had never heard. It was so boring! The Die hard fans loved it, but not one of my favorites!

I have a bunch of Rush albums, I  started collecting in the 90'S. That and my uncle
Gave me his record collection 15 years ago, but never played them.

I just purchased a signed Alan Parsons Project, remastered " Turn of a Friendly Card " album, at his concert, about a month ago. Most expensive album I've bought ($75), but I have no plans on playing it!

I'm curious who know's (let alone listens to!) Alan Parsons!
He played a awesome concert! Best sounding live show, I've ever heard!

Very shocking. We just lost Bowie! What the hell!

Just think of all the unfinished projects, and unreleased material in that studio. Even if we could hear it, it would not
be the same, without his final touch.

A true Icon!
